Liar, Fraud and Lame-Duck President Bush takes credit for Webb GI Bill

As if the title didn’t say everything I wanted it to say, Bush’s remarks today concerning his signing of the expanded Webb GI Bill reflect a chutzpah unparalleled in recent American politics:

Yes, he really said that. He claimed that black is white, war is peace, freedom is slavery, and rabid opposition to the troops’ needs is “close collaboration”. And he included Clone McSame in the mix of Senators who “supported” it by their fanatical opposition to it.

Faux News, that bastion of rational thought and journalistic integrity, defended the President’s real position during the run-up to the passage of the bill:

The comments that come at around 2:00 really grind my gears.  These talking heads are suggesting that the veterans of today are less deserving of real benefits than were the men who served in WWII because we served voluntarily.  In other words, you knew what you were getting into, so you deserve to get screwed.  I’ve heard this line of bullshit before, from other civilians.  “You knew what you were getting into when you signed up.” Really, there is no depth to which these people will not sink, no amount of perfidy and fraud they will not commit, in order to advance their agendas and partisan politics.

Bush is a complete embarrassment as President and as a human being. The world will rejoice when this third-rate, subhuman waste of flesh has removed his odious personage from the hallowed halls of the White House.
